Sanna has closed a NOK 30 million financing round led by Skyfall Ventures and Alliance VC. The company says it will use the proceeds to further develop its AI-driven accounting platform and to hire additional authorized accountants to scale its service offering for small and medium-sized businesses.
Since launching last year, Sanna has grown its customer list to more than 2,000 companies in Norway and Sweden. The round values Sanna at 120 million NOK and comes as the company shifts strategy to broaden its market focus from mainly holding companies to include operational companies with employees. Existing investor Sondo participated in the round alongside a group of investors that includes Eirik Rime (Tise), Fredrik Thomassen (Superside), Martin Schütt (Askeladden) and former Opera CEO Lars Boilesen. With this latest round, Sanna says it has now raised 44 million NOK in total. Sanna operates on a fixed-price accounting model in which AI automates much of the work while authorized accountants perform final checks.
