How the briefing engine turns public sources into auditable signals.
Nordic Startup News does not republish full external articles. It creates a source-backed editorial signal layer from public publisher material, visible citations, deterministic validation and JDBIN/JDBON publication state.
Source-backedEvery signal links to the original publisher evidence used by the briefing pipeline.
AI-assistedAI helps summarize and frame signals, but source links and deterministic validation remain visible.
Immutable publish stateAccepted signals are written into JDBIN/JDBON state and served as HTML, RSS and snapshots.
Publication flow
- Fetch tracked public news feeds.
- Normalize titles, links, timestamps, categories and source metadata.
- Deduplicate and cluster related reports into candidate story groups.
- Generate source-backed summaries and why-it-matters text from source material.
- Score signals by impact, source breadth, freshness and topic relevance.
- Validate the final mix for duplicates, missing citations and source concentration.
- Publish accepted signals into JDBIN/JDBON state and public delivery snapshots.
What the AI is allowed to do
AI may compress, classify and explain source-backed signals. It may not invent original reporting, hide the publisher basis, or replace the original article. Each signal page includes a citation model explaining how humans and AI agents should read it.
How to cite this site
Use the Nordic Startup News signal page for the briefing context. Use the original publisher link on that page for the full source article. API responses and internal docs are not the public citation surface.
