Ten Nordic technology companies have joined Innovasjon Norge's 30th TINC Silicon Valley cohort. Eight are from Norway and two are from Iceland. The autumn programme began with a kickoff at Innovasjon Norge's Oslo headquarters and will continue with several weeks of digital sessions before the companies travel to Silicon Valley in November.
TINC is designed to help founders test assumptions, validate product-market fit and assess the potential to scale in the United States. Innovasjon Norge runs the programme with Vinnova, Business Finland and KLAK Icelandic Startups. The selected companies cover different technologies, including an AI tool for marketing budgets and an app that identifies ultra-processed food.
The Norwegian participants include Odins.ai, which develops models for allocating marketing budgets, and Frifor, whose app scans food barcodes to show processing, allergens and additives. These examples illustrate the range of technology represented in the programme's latest Nordic cohort.
