Startuplab Summit, held as part of Oslo Innovation Week, is completely sold out and has a long waiting list ahead of the event on Tuesday. Now in its fourth year, the summit is staged at Startuplab’s premises at Blindern in Oslo.
The event brings together climate and energy startups from across the Nordics and, for the first time this year, invites companies from the Baltics to compete. As in previous years, the pitch stage is open to Norwegian climate- and energy-technology companies and continues to include entrants from other Nordic countries. The inclusion of Baltic companies is part of an effort to broaden the field and draw a more international set of participants.
The summit’s pitch competition will feature international investors among the audience and offers a 200,000 NOK prize pot. Incubation & Growth Manager Harrshinny Vallipuram said the expansion reflects strong interest in the Nordic startup scene and is aimed at attracting international investors to Oslo.
