Bergen-based Sensa is raising NOK 4 million to develop and sell an industrial data platform for small and midsize businesses. Eviny Ventures is investing NOK 2 million, alongside Tidligfasefond Vestland and Brothers. Startuplab joined existing shareholders in an earlier NOK 5 million investment, according to Shifter.
Founders Kjartan Nesse and Morten Alskog started the company in 2024. Their software aims to connect industrial data and flag faulty sensors or poor data quality before companies use the information in AI systems. Sensa is targeting aquaculture, shipping and renewable energy; it says it currently has four paying customers in aquaculture and shipping.
The founders say their immediate focus is expanding sales, and they have further customer discussions and contract proposals under way. Shifter reports that Sensa has six employees in Norway and another six working through Cefalo in Bangladesh. The new investment is a financing step, while the scale of future customer adoption remains to be seen.
