Risika has launched Riskpilot, a free business database covering more than 4.6 million active companies across Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The company says the Danish portion includes more than 850,000 businesses. Users can examine ownership information, financial data and corporate structures when researching an employer, supplier, contractor, partner or investment.
Riskpilot was developed by Risika, which sells credit-risk and business-data products. The free service is positioned as a research tool for people and organisations seeking basic company insight, while Risika's existing paid products remain aimed at professional credit management and risk assessment. The launch therefore makes part of the data behind Risika's commercial offering available without charge.
