Riff has promoted Andrzej Golebiowski to CEO, formalising a leadership split while co‑founder Trygve Karper will focus full‑time on product. Golebiowski, previously COO and commercial head, said the arrangement reflects an existing division of responsibilities and told Shifter that Karper will lead product work while he handles go-to-market.
He said his top priority is contacting as many customers in Riff’s ICP as possible and landing new logos quickly. Golebiowski told Shifter Riff landed five new enterprise customers in Q2 and is in dialogue with about 60 manufacturers, with roughly ten new conversations per week.
The Oslo company, formerly Databutton, has shifted toward industrial customers and AI agents. The article notes Riff raised $16 million in a Series A led by Northzone last autumn; founders include Karper, Martin Røed and Viral Shah, and listed investors include Northzone, Skyfall Ventures, Maki.vc, Sondo Capital, Global Founders Capital and Illusian.
