Onomondo has received an investment of more than DKK 750 million, TechSavvy reports. Aspirity Partners becomes the majority owner of the Copenhagen-based IoT infrastructure company, while EIFO increases its investment. Onomondo says the capital will support international expansion and continued development of its technology and network infrastructure.
Onomondo provides a platform that links connected devices, mobile networks and cloud services. Its system integrates directly with nearly 700 mobile networks. The company says it serves more than 500 customers in over 100 countries; TechSavvy names Maersk, Carlsberg and Bosch among those customers.
According to TechSavvy, Onomondo will use the investment to extend its international presence and develop infrastructure for exchanging device data across markets. Chief executive Rasmus Jensen says the company plans to keep its technology and engineering base in Denmark while expanding abroad.
