Kravia to Expand Beyond the Nordics with New Acquisition

Norwegian fintech Kravia has acquired Dutch debt collection platform PayQ and established Kravia Netherlands, marking its first move outside the Nordic region as it seeks to grow its invoice follow-up and debt collection business in Europe.

Kravia, a Norwegian fintech and debt collection firm, has acquired PayQ, a Netherlands-based collection platform, and has established Kravia Netherlands as part of the deal. The acquisition is Kravia’s first step outside the Nordic region and is intended to serve as a platform for growth in the Dutch market.

The company said the move will strengthen its capabilities in invoice follow-up and debt collection across Europe. Kravia has recorded an annual growth rate of 44 percent over the past five years and plans further country expansion as part of its growth strategy.
