Norwegian proptech Gadder has launched Gadder Proff, a paid B2B service aimed at energy advisers, municipalities and owners of housing cooperatives and commercial buildings. The company says the move builds on a 2025 pilot in which Agder county purchased access and made the private tool free for residents across its 25 municipalities, and that thousands of homeowners have used the consumer offering to create energy plans.
Gadder says its AI model interprets blueprints, geodata and condition reports to break down buildings at detail level and produce a prioritized list of measures—such as insulation, new windows, heat pumps and solar—with cost estimates and projected savings. CEO Andreas Madsen claims the software can generate recommendations in a fraction of the time of current practice, and that Proff is tied to Enova’s energy-labelling scheme so it can be used to create energy certificates.
The company acknowledges competition from established energy consultants and other proptech firms. Madsen also argues that Norway’s fixed-price 'Norgespris' dampens household incentives for upgrades, while saying that choosing the right measures can still make renovations financially viable.
