Helsinki-based Comparables.ai has raised $6 million in seed funding to expand its AI-powered M&A intelligence platform globally. This funding round was led by Pragmatech Venture Capital and Araya Ventures, alongside other notable investors such as Purple Ventures, Gorilla Capital, hi5 Ventures, and Somersault Ventures.
The platform offers corporate development teams, private equity firms, M&A advisors and investment banks access to an extensive dataset of over 370 million active companies, including their financials, valuations, and ownership structures. Presently, the platform is utilized by over 50,000 professionals across more than 30 countries, and the funding will further support its multi-market expansion.
As Comparables.ai aims to enhance its AI capabilities, the immediate next steps include developing its AI engine to better serve enterprise customers and expanding its global presence in addressing the M&A market's information gaps.
