Drivkraft has increased its stipend fund to NOK 2.5 million and has accelerated the next application round for entrepreneurs in Sogn and Fjordane to this year. This initiative aims to attract more female applicants after previously seeing a significant male-dominated applicant pool.
The adjustment allows recipients not only to access increased funding but also includes provisions for advisory support. Drivkraft's managing director, Alfred Bjørlo, emphasizes the urgency of boosting local businesses to sustain growth and welfare in the Sogn and Fjordane region, reflecting a concerted effort to diversify the ecosystem.
