Samplix, a Danish BioTech company specializing in droplet microfluidics for single-cell analysis, has secured €25 million in the first closing of its financing round, which consists of €3 million in new investment and €22 million in shareholder convertible bonds. The round was spearheaded by WLanholding GmbH, with participation from existing shareholders, and remains open for additional investors with a total fundraising target of €30 million.
Samplix plans to utilize these funds to enhance its proprietary Xdrop platform, which allows functional analysis at the single-cell level, thereby addressing persistent challenges in drug discovery. This financing represents a critical step in scaling its operations and technological capabilities.
