Cobuilder Group has recruited Helge Øien as chief financial officer and Varun Mittal as chief product officer, the company announced. Cobuilder sells data and software for managing product data in the construction sector; CEO Gustav Line said the two bring relevant experience as the firm accelerates growth through organic initiatives and acquisitions and partnerships.
Shifter reported Øien joined Airthings as CFO in autumn 2024 and served as interim CEO from July 2025 amid liquidity challenges and a failed sale attempt. Airthings raised NOK 105 million in a guaranteed share issue in September; its stock was delisted on 12 February after Firda’s mandatory offer of NOK 0.10 per share.
Mittal joins from Unacast, where he was VP Products and Operations, and has prior product roles at DNV and Finn. Cobuilder — founded in 1997 with about 3,000 customers — said 2025 revenue rose 18% to NOK 118 million. Corten Capital became majority owner in October 2024, and Gustav Line succeeded founder Lars Fredenlund as CEO in 2025.
