Bertil Helseth, who founded Intelecy, has started a new company called Hiiko to prevent critical operational knowledge from leaving organizations when veteran workers retire or move on. Hiiko’s product, which the company calls "plant memory," is designed to collect real-time data and historical information from a range of sources to support better operations and troubleshooting.
The software will bring together operational and maintenance histories alongside other relevant data so that insights that normally reside with a few experienced individuals are preserved and made actionable for ongoing process management.
