Visma-Owned Mandora Launches Taki, AI Accounting Agent for Startups

Visma-owned Mandora has launched Taki, an AI-driven accounting agent built to simplify invoicing and bookkeeping for founders and startups, entering a competitive field of new accounting challengers.

Mandora, which is owned by Visma, has commercially launched Taki, an agent-style AI accountant designed to make invoicing and day-to-day bookkeeping easier for entrepreneurs and startup teams. The product is intended to let users ask the agent to carry out accounting tasks on an ongoing basis—such as creating an invoice or posting an entry—and to perform those actions through a mobile app.

Mandora CEO Runar Gundersen says existing solutions do not meet the needs of modern founders, and that the company set out to redesign accounting with AI at its core rather than adapt legacy approaches. With the backing of a large group and the promise of an agentic AI workflow, Taki is positioned to compete with a growing number of startups aiming to upend traditional accounting practices.
